This happened when my smartphone was very slow in charging the battery. I tried other chargers and other cables and even replaced them all with new ones and the results were still the same. So now I have to use my computer again and it turns out that the computer has to do a lot of updates and a lot of time is wasted just waiting for everything to finish. Did the plans you made go wrong because of one problem? When I want to leave the house it always rains very hard, so it always delays doing something on my smartphone.

The Winter rains took out my landline. But my smart phone still worked.

my landline can no longer turn on and it has been going on for a long time, the problem is that the old technology has been replaced by new technology. And in fact new technology breaks down more quickly than old technology.

@TheHorse if that's not done there probably won't be anyone who wants to replace it with a new one, that seems to be the strategy that produces it.

@May2k8 That may be "by design." "new technology breaks down more quickly than old technology"

I am sorry it is raining so hard there for you to leave your house. I detest the updating issue taking a long time. My phone is never updating anymore as I need a new one..some issues.

Every few months I always update mine, except that the computer I haven't used for a long time now has to be used for emergency purposes.

@RebeccasFarm I don't know yet whether my charger is damaged or my cellphone, because charging is very slow with any charger.

I hate when updates happen and mess everything up. I try to set them up to happen overnight.

Sometimes after an update it causes an error and we have to downgrade again.

I'm afraid of turning on my laptop, it's been ages and it'll probably ask for tons of updates too. So far I've only been using the desktop computer as well as the smartphone. It charges fast but battery is in critical condition, according to the phone. I just try to use it as little as possible when outside. Lately it's been people 'messing' with my plans, technology is behaving as expected thankfully.

I just reset my router suddenly all my settings disappeared and I don't know the cause yet. That's the technology, there's just a problem, there's probably a short circuit I hope it doesn't catch fire.

@sabtraversa Yes, we have to check everything including the connection to electricity.

When you don't use your computer or laptop for a while, you will need to wait for it to finish updating.

I agree, the file size for the update is so large that it takes hours to complete.

It seems I’m always buying new charger cords or blocks for my great grandkids! It’s like they’re only meant to last for a short time!

it seems like it was designed that way and we need something new in a very short period of time.

Sometimes updates slow down computer performance so that it takes longer than expected.

Computer updates drive me insane, especially when you need to use it immediately. We lost power once years ago, including the cable. The electricity returned quickly, but it took the cable company a week to repair the lines.

If the computer does not reach the minimum they required then the update cannot be continue. Luckily my electric company has a large supply of cables.

I barely sleep, only needing to rest 4 hours a day doesn't seem like enough.
