A Western Diamondback Rattlesnake was seen on a walkway at the Texas A & M University-San Antonio (UTAMSA) campus by students who saw the animal slithering between the Science and Technology Building and the Auditorium one week ago.
UTAMSA police officer Daniel Stoddard answered the call about the snake that is harmless to human even though it is poisonous if attacked by either a human or another animal relocated the snakes to bushes nearby.
The reason that the snakes are in the walkway of the campus is due to construction work that has caused the animals to find other area of the campus to walk around.
The good news is that no one was hurt dealing with the snake on Thursday evening one week ago.

The rattlesnake may have wanted to rattle some cages on the campus.
