Today it might be the first day of the rest of my life.

I decided to quit procrastinating in regard of my health. I have a wonderful and inexpensive body cream and decided from today on to put it over my entire body after my shower instead of lookind at the pot that was on my chest of drawers. I will not forget to put eye drops EVERY DAY as the doctor said. I have the drops and I forget. And last but not least, I´ll walk as much as I can every day, even if it is inside the house. I think that I thought about doing this in my New Year promises. But almost 3 months have gone by and I haven´t done anything. And if I have to spend some money in one of those machines where you walk in front of your TV, I´ll do it.

You can do it. Every little bit helps. I have to get walking every day and not just in the nice days. Walking even if it is just around the house is good for you and your heart. I have been slack with putting cream on when I get out the shower and my skin is dry so I need to start doing that too.

@Happy2BeMe Simond´s. It says Simond´s Dermo Cream. I use a lot of Simond´s products. Some are made for babies so they don´t have strong aromas.

Good for you! That cream sounds wonderful! What is it called and can I get it in the USA or order from Amazon. Yeah I am supposed to be going to the gym but since we move to this place I am not near it.

The cream is called Simond´s Dermo Cream. The cost is next to nothing and my doctor friend found it online for me after I went to another doctor who made a prescription for a cream for royalty. Some young doctors simply cannot imagine what it is to be retired. The cream has urea and that is very good for very dry skin.

I am especially glad you will be making sure to take care of your eyes as the doctor instructed. Plus, any exercise is good exercise.

I weighted myself today and I weight more than what I did last year after I got out of the hospital. But I bet it is just fat and no muscle

Each day, I've been doing ten minutes of exercise following a YouTube clip. There are a lot to choose from and there are even chair yoga exercises that you can do. I alternate between the sets and I'm sure it's helped me. I think I'm a bit more supple. At least, I didn't have as much trouble cutting my toenails as last time.

Toenails are a long way off. Same as the floor. And it seems that teaspoons have a way of falling that they did not have before

Just start out slowly and work your way up. You can do it, you know the old saying ''if you don't use it, you lose it'' which definitely applies to so much of life. You go, Marga!!

Think of it as a New Season promise (I believe it becomes autumn soon over there?). Now is a good time as any to get proactive with the health stuff. May you reach all your health goals .

@marguicha There are many things that can be indoors. I don't like cold, but I know that if I bundle up and move around enough, I will eventually warm up even in the cold outdoors.

There are some YouTube videos called Walking With Leslie Sansom. They turn indoor walking into a work out. Every little bit helps.
