Ticking off the weeks

Another week has started in the southern hemisphere. Do you find that, when you have regular events on regular days, the weeks go by very quickly?
I am going to Zumba in an hour or two. There isn’t much that is Zumba-ish about it but more like movement to music but it’s good exercise for us oldies. And the bin gets put out today. I’ve already done that. Tuesday is movies, Wednesday free, Thursday cards, Friday social night at the clubhouse. Nothing special on the weekends then another week starts.
However, this Saturday, we’re taking part in a Music Trivia night at the clubhouse. We don’t expect to do very well. Although we like our music, we spent too long with limited radio reception and missed out on a lot of what was popular years back. We’ll still enjoy it though.
The extreme heat has gone now and we’re having some lovely days. I’m planning on visiting a few friends over the next few weeks. Once Vince has his operation, we’ll be out of commission for a while.

I love the way the chefs add color to dishes although I have never been able to do that myself. Enjoy your trip.

@marguicha We've only done the one cruise on the Queen Mary but the food was incredible. It seems the food on most cruises is very good.

I hope you have some good visits with friends. That should be fun and with cooler weather, even better!!
I like to keep my routine - if broken by weather, illness or something unexpected, it gets all messed up and I get behind. I like to keep it on the normal schedule. Monday open, Tues- Antique Store, Wed.,- Girl Boss Boutique, Thurs. rest or Antique store if I miss Tues., Fri. errands in town. Sat- chill around house, Sun- afternoon Flea Market

Enjoy your Zumba. It sounds like fun exercise. I probably wouldn't be very good at music trivia but hopefully it will be stuff you're familiar with.
