Kitty slept with me last night!

Right now Kitty is guarding me at my feet. She is dozing, but she is in that regal "on her tummy" position, like the Sphinx. Last night at abut 2 AM, she jumped up on my bed and demanded a purr fest. I gave her one, and then she settled in next to my head. She was still there when I woke up this morning. I think she secretly wants to sleep on my tummy (when I'm on my back), but I'm going to let her decide when the time is right. Do you kitties sleep in bed with you?

I am not a person interested in cats and never had one. I tend to think that cats are somewhat wild. As for Luna, she never comes into the house. My house is too small to let her in. Although I have never told her to stay out. She just knows.

@TheHorse From what I have read here, it seems that kitties often make their human being partners their slaves.

Kitty trained me to let her further and further in. Soon she'll be giving me musical advice.

@TheHorse Nope. Her favorite spot is a blanket I have laying on a foot stool. She is sleeping there right now

@wolfgirl569 Kitty seems to change her "favorite spot" regularly. Often, it's somewhere she knows I'll be trying to walk.

@TheHorse Nico is attempting to nap on a dining room chair head kind of pointed to the deck though so he can wake up fast if anything interesting goes on out there.

@TheHorse We do not have raccoons here,at most another cat would get inside, it happens that the kitty of my neighbors visits and my cat visits them.

Kitt's cat door allows raccoons into my house. I had another visitor last night.

@LadyDuck I am glad they are all friends. Kitty is an abject failure as a watch cat when it comes to raccoons.

We always had dogs; and they didn't sleep in bed or in our recliners....well, except for Ice that liked to nap on my lap. Have a good day.

@TheHorse A white Pomeranian (or so they said). He and Max (another white Pomeranian) were rescues and were a bonded pair.

Yes, the kitties sleep with us. Sometimes one, sometimes the other, sometimes both. They are hard to move if they sleep over my feet.

Recently, no. Chilly hasn't all that much. Not that I don't want him to, but it takes a bit for him to settle. And, that's not helpful for George. But, before the stroke, Chilly slept with us every night.

All of my cats sleep with me. They like taking the center of the bed.

Do they (and the Scotch they bring you) ever make you fall out of bed?

Now and then Freddie gets a need to cuddle and he comes into bed with me and then I put my arms around him and I fall asleep to purrs in my ears,

At one of our house-sits, the dog made it very clear he wanted to come to bed with us so we dragged his bed into our room and he slept as close as he could get to Vince.

@TheHorse I was against the wall but Vince was very happy to put his hand out and pat the dog from time to time.

Both cats sleep with me at night. Freya loves sleeping on the pillow on the other side of the bed (I bought a queen sized bed, so the cats had room to sleep) and Petey curls up along my back. They will get up and do a security check and often settle down in the studio/living room for awhile. Freya will also sleep on the bed during the day, sleeping on her pillow where she can watch out the windows for intruders (they have to have plenty of guts, I live on the third floor, it's quite a climb. And I wouldn't want to tangle with an angry Siamese cat!!! I have heard plenty about protective Siamese cats!). They also sleep on the foot stool during the day when I'm kicked back working on the bears. They're both great watch cats!!!
