Do you find targeted advertising creepy? (Warning: some slightly edgy content)

As you know, I like to visit guitar and stereo sites, because it means I will get guitar and stereo ads on MyLot and other sites. I also don't mind LL Bean ads, so I occasionally click on them and consider buying a new flannel shirt. Yesterday or the day before, I posted about Kitty sleeping on my bed with me. Now I am getting ads for "exotic cats" for sale. I had not heard of "Mainecoon" cats. As a heterosexual male, I like vaginas. I am using the word "vagina" to see if I will get ads about vaginas over the next few days. Given that I am older, will I get ads about creams to soothe itching in my nether regions? Will I get more ads for hot Asian or Russian (or now, Ukranian) brides? Yes, I am conducting an experiment. I am a bit of a perv. Given that I don't encounter vaginas as often as I did before Ms Horse was killed by a surprise projectile birth in the elephant exhibit at the Oakland zoo, I see vaginas everywhere. At our gig in Isleton, I spied this tree on the street. I couldn't help but laugh. The photo is "upside down" for effect. OK, what is your hypothesis? What kinds of ads will I start getting after doing this post? I hope I didn't offend anyone.

Yes, it is very creepy. Maybe it’s our imagination, but it doesn’t even have to be an online post or search. We can be talking about something and then see the creepy adds. Maybe more then Big Brother is watching us and listening.

@TheHorse My husband and I may be talking about going to the mountains or maybe needing a new appliance and then we start getting adds for mountain destinations or appliances. It happens often enough to be creepy. We joke that Siri is ease dropping again.
