What's The Point?

United States

Last week, I decided to analyze some apps, that were very popular back in the day. Just say I read some reviews. These mostly were grocery apps. I read reviews long time ago and they were quite popular. Well, the other day, all of the reviews are negative, and there's a lot of complaints. I was just wondering why they start off good, with positive reviews and end up on the negative. Don't they care about their public anymore. When things were better, and we now have high inflation, they're not as useful or helpful as they once were. Just something I wondered about. Have you ever thought about it?

I never know which reviews to believe to be quite honest.

Never thought of that. But they were good at first.

@RebeccasFarm That's probably what is happening.

@popciclecold Yes over time I guess people can find out what is not good about a service and then post about it.

They do not care at all about the public, it is a shame and all those apps are scams.

I think I’m the beginn these apps come with a lot of hype and pizzazz, but then after people use them for a while they realize that they were over promised and under delivered.

Perhaps it's better. They'll bring you down for sure.

I use one grocery app. It’s a great savings. I haven’t read any reviews.

I agree with Kayla. Or they just don't care about the consumer. Have a good day.

Maybe just part of the whole trend of things not being as useful or lucrative online. In the case of the grocery apps..the companies don't want to give up the $$ most likely.

It's marketing. Most reviews aren't really real. They are designed to hype up a product or service. After a while, real people actually do review, and tend to lean to the negative because the experience isn't worth the hype.

Thank you, I was really wondering about it.

I think that many reviews are fake. I trusted blindly a site with good reviews and I was scammed two days ago.
