Jay Sold Our 5th Wheel

@kobesbuddy There isn't a big market for some of these bigger vehicles.

@JudyEv We had two people view our fifth-wheel. Not very many people can afford to buy one! And it cost a lot of money, to haul one around on the highway!

We have owned it for going on two years and Jay used it one time. It costs a fortune to travel with it!

@kobesbuddy I didn't know that. For some reason, I thought you lived in it for a time in-between rentals. But it's good that you sold it, I know they just cost a fortune to haul around.

@kobesbuddy I have a friend who had her house on the market, and wanted to downsize and buy a smaller home. She owned a 5th wheel. Her house was scheduled to close one week before the closing on the one she was buying, so the moving company picked up her things, and she planned to live in the 5th wheel for a week. One day before the closing of her new home, the seller decided to KEEP it! She was so, so disappointed. She had to rent a home for awhile, and have her belongings moved to that, because she couldn't find one in the area she wanted to be in. What a mess. She was, however, glad to have the 5th wheel to stay in. She did sell it for the reason that it was just too expensive to drag it around, and she said she was just tired of the expense and the experience.

Now that spring is here, our building project can begin:)

@sallypup Finally, we will have a home on our vacant lot!

@kobesbuddy Ah, OK. Does it really have only one wheel?

@TheHorse Nope,, I think it has four-six wheels. We parked it in an RV park, lived in it last summer.

It's basically a small trailer, that hitches onto the back of a person's truck.

We need that money badly, to start constructing our new home.

After Thursday, they are meeting with Jay at the 5th wheel, where it's parked.

@Happy2BeMe Monday, Jay will meet them at the 5th wheel. They are paying with a cashier's check.

@kobesbuddy that is great. It will be nice to get that over with.

We had to wait until after winter. The ground is still frozen.

@kobesbuddy Good Kharla..I hope this will go through fine and they will show up with the cash.

@RebeccasFarm We aren't worried about the money. If they couldn't pay us, they wouldn't have purchased it.

After Thursday, Jay is meeting them at the 5th wheel, where it's parked. They will bring our money, Jay will bring the title to sign.

@kobesbuddy - Not here, because the land is extremely expensive, only the larger cities have RV parks.

A fifth wheel is too expensive, to haul around from one place to another.

@LadyDuck They have RV parks in every city, in the US.

@kobesbuddy I've heard they're expensive, using a lot of gas to operate.

A lot of money is wrapped up in a 5th wheel, far too expensive to use!

My daughter had a camper they wanted to sell online. It took them one day! lol

Jay took it down south one time, it was too expensive!

@LindaOHio Within the month of April, our spring weather will truly begin!

Steve is our friend, he will put the foundation in very soon.

@kobesbuddy I'm so excited for you. And soon there will be good weather for building.

Selling this was a breath of fresh air, for me! lol

This was a worry that I was carrying on my shoulders. Jay said, God will sell it!

That's money we can use, to start building our new house:) Within a month, the foundation will be put in.

The flowers were so pretty, at the home we were renting last spring! The 5th wheel is parked in the background, it can barely be seen:)

They want to make sure everything is in working order. We already know that it is.

Every time God answers a prayer, my faith grows!
