Going to the hospital for sonic kidney stone smashing. Been through this before and it isn't fun. Usually, kidney stone problems recur within five years. It's been almost nine. My specialist thinks I'm doing some things right. Hopefully, this will be the last time. My previous round of this went wrong so I'm looking at this with some trepidation. Last time the stones busted up just fine and they will this time too but last time everything tried to leave at the same time and got stuck. The pain was beyond description and the doctor had to go in with the scope to clear things out. We'll see how talkative I am over the next couple days.

I'm back home. So far so good. Too early to know if I'll have any complications.

Good luck with this. It doesn't sound particularly pleasant.

Feeling better than expected this morning. I will get a follow-up appointment in the next couple of weeks to see where things are at.
