They clapped for me today in class.

The teacher asked a question, "How many say the world was created from nothing?". I didn't raise my hand. Some students did. Then he asked," How many say the world was created from something?". I raised my hand together with some students. The teacher asked me why I say the world was created from something. I smiled and laughed then I raised my head and said," through Jesus everything existed". The teacher joked about my answer and went ahead to ask about other reasons. I really wanted to prove my answer and so I remembered something I read in Hebrews. I checked Hebrew chapter 1 and couldn't find it then I checked chapter 11 and found what I was looking for in verse 3. I raised my hand and the teacher allowed me to speak. I quoted Hebrews 11 verse 3 and finished by saying that the word is Jesus. The teacher asked everyone to clap for me. He then said to others,"If you don't know anything your work will be to clap your hands". He encouraged everyone to use scriptures to back up their answer. I took a car from school to town but instead of taking another car from town to home, I decided to walk. I walked for one hour and reached home and showered. I technically take four cars. Two on my way to school and two on my way back. The photo is of the road when I was almost ariving to my estate. I noticed it was littered but there were no many people or cars like it is on weekdays. I'm now eating indomie instant noodles. It is now past 4pm.

I'm curious, did you study the Bible at school or at seminary?

For many years I've been reading the bible at home. I've never gone to a seminary before. I started my theology class few weeks ago in school.

Don’t you get taught science at your school? The world (as in Earth) was created from dust and gases about 4.6 billion years ago, as were the other planets in our solar system, rotating about our glorious sun. According to the bible, God created everything in a few days, and Jesus was the son of God and Mary, who came along much later to ‘save the world’. He needs to return and give it another go.

@mildredtabitha I am a scientist, so therefore believe in science. The bible is easily deconstructed, but I don’t want to upset you. I was brought up as a Catholic but there are many other religions around the world, and some no longer, like Eygptian, Greek, Roman, and Norse. Most have many gods, so which one to believe? The Big Bang Theory describes how our Universe began, but doesn’t explain what there was before, or where it will end. It might well turn out that there is A God, but he’s ( or she’s) definitely keeping a low profile. According to leading scientists, our star is half way through it’s life cycle before it turns into a red giant, and then a white dwarf, so we only got a few billion years to get the answer.

@mildredtabitha The bible was written by man and obviously edited by man. I believe the King James Version is the de facto standard for Christians, but correct me if I’m wrong. It’s what I used to read as a child. I’ve not read other religious texts such as the Quran, but they are all of a theme. Life is short, and we should enjoy it as best we can, just in case this is all there is. Do you believe in reincarnation? I’ve always wondered who or what I’d like to come back as. I just can’t decide whether to be an animal, or even as a man or a woman?

Do you believe science or the bible? From your response, I see you have knowledge for both. I learned science many years ago and even loved it. But the bible is true. Most scientists don't believe in God.

With an hour's walk, that would have been your exercise for the day.

Yes. Walking is a good exercise. I've been looking for opportunities to walk daily since the doc told me to lose weight.

In genesis, God says ," Let US make man in our own image". Jesus existed before the creation of the world. God created the world through Jesus because In the book of John(John 1:1) it says that the WORD was God. Read also Hebrews 11:3: By faith we understand that the universe was created by the WORD of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible (Hebrews 11:3) To answer your question, the word is God and also the word is Jesus. It's God who created the world through his son Jesus.
