A Boogie - Woogie Me

When I was still in primary school, most teachers kept asking me to dance. As if I am good at it. Even though I do not like it, I am obliged to do so. Mostly, they ask us to do ballroom dancing. Among all the performances at school, I enjoyed learning the boogie-woogie dance. I must say that my group nailed this kind of dancing, despite the fact that it was not trendy at our age at the time. Are you a good dancer? Have you ever tried to dance and perform at your school in the past? Image Credit: i.makeagif.com

You reminded me of the song, “Boogie Shoes”. No, I have never danced. The closest I get to dancing is the Hokey Pokey.

In fact, I was demoted with my dancing skills. I am dancing with our twin girls to their favorite nursery rhymes. I can be a mascot with a dance move with them.

I love to dance and was a rather good dancer. James and I danced the night away. I remember though when my son was small..he did not like the dance school..so I took him out. I am glad you got to be the best for the dance even though you did not like it.

It was a memorable memory. It was fun, despite not being a pro at the time. Even my siblings are not into it. I remembered that my father tries to do his ballroom dancing moves, but he has two left feet.

When I was a student, I was really introverted. I do not usually participate in school activities, but in grade 5, my teacher made me participate in a folk dance competition. My mother got really excited about it and got my costume ready.

I can imagine what your mom looked like at that time. My parents are not expressive with their feelings, but I can feel that they are proud of me.

I don't dance the steps I see on TV. I basically sway to the music.

I sometimes do this. I have my own moves when listening to certain songs.

no I'm not a good dancer. When my best friend and I were younger, we took some dance lessons, but we didn't have a partner so we had to quit.

There was a childhood friend who learned how to dance ballet. We appreciated her desire. My siblings and I never had the aspiration of doing so.

When I reached my university, I never dared to dance. As expected, I became the clapper for the performers.

Since I graduated from primary school, I have not tried to dance anymore. I wish you the same.
