Funny name for this little birdie.
One of the smallest birds in North America weighing in at .19 oz.
You would think a bird so small world migrate to warmer weather but not these birds.
They are year round residents here in Colorado.
They also weave nests that look like a hanging pouch/sock.
As you're out on your next walk, keep an eye out for them, maybe they are in your area too.

Yes, I do like bird watching. We have a very cute variety out here. It comes to my window sometimes. For a bird that small size, it sure makes loud sound. LOL. Right now I am able to hear koyal (cuckoo). Rainy season is still too far. Why is it making sound, I wonder. LOL
That bird is cute...... I would have liked to keep it as a pet...

It sounds like Beavis and Butthead gave some of these their names!
