I should be finding out when I will be able to get the new unlimited broadband. I am going to try not to get excited because if I do..they may say it will be 6 months or something. Of course I am hoping it will be more like six weeks or even six days..Wouldn't that be sweet??
. I have a mystery shop earlier..but I will hustle back here ASAP so I can participate in the call..I may not do the webinar itself

I think I've had that for many years but I could be wrong. Last year our provider sent us a new modem. It looked different than the one we had upstairs so we installed it in the basement because it looked similar to that one.
We were supposed to be getting a certain amount of whatever the measurement (bandwidth maybe) is but never did. And we kept losing service. My husband had to reset it too often.
After some time passed someone called and a technician came out. He said the unit they sent was meant to go upstairs as they weren't using two moderns anymore. So he brought it up but then found out that it was defective. He had another in his truck and that one worked. We've not had to reset it since.
We didn't have to learn how to use it though.
You're not currently using dial up are you?

Oh God no! I don't think anybody uses dial up these days. I have satellite which is expensive and not that great.

I can't imagine life without an unlimited broadband, and a decent speed.
Hopefully you won't have to wait for long. And hopefully everything will work as expected.

The speed I have is pretty good, and it is unlimited to a certain extent..but the high speed is limited.

Regardless if it is a short timeframe or a long one, you might get distracted and 'forget' all about it until it is hooked up.
I had something sent to me last week in the mail, I knew it was coming, but totally forgot by the time that I got the mail yesterday and there it was.
I wish the same pleasant experience for yourself.

@Juliaacv I have a lot of them on there already as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Right now I have to watch them primarily on the Kindle. I could watch NF out here, on the Smart TV, but it looks hard to add the password. However, I plan to get that new Smart TV hooked up in the bedroom too.

What kind of broadband is it your getting? I was thinking
awhile back about doing the mystery shopping thing but
Now that I have looked into it more it's just not for me.

we have that as well, & it's pretty cool cause we have ours
set up (being we have 2 places on the property) where we
have the internet set up to BOTH t v's & can have free Y-T
& some free channels to watch anything we want.

Yes, I just hope it is not a crushing disappointment .
The good thing though is that I have seen numerous people in nearby areas working on the lines so fingers crossed. They need a fingers crossed emoji on here .
