We change our clocks tomorrow at 2 am to longer hours. It will be summer time and our Sabbath will be late in starting and late in ending. I look forward to sunny days and no rain. The days will be longer. In winter the days are shorter and our Sabbaths are shorter. We are only suppose to get rain in winter and in summer months it is suppose to be sunny all the time. The only thing about daylight time I do not like is when we change our clocks forward that we lose some sleep.
Happy daylight time to those that change clocks like we do or have already changed theirs and to those that still have to do it.

@Hannihar So happy to see you Hanni! I've missed you a lot. I hope you've been well! How are you and how is Sophie?

@Hannihar Please forgive me, what is Hamas? I'm terribly sorry that I don't know. I want to learn though.
I am so hoping the move can be done for you and Sophie. I know you haven't been happy at all about being there.
Sending you big hugs Hanni.

I will explain Hamas in my own words. They are a terrorist cell that took over Gaza and have been our enemy and wants to destroy us. They infiltrated our communities in the South on Oct. 7th which was the last day of a Jewish holiday and our Sabbath. They caught us off guard and murdered Israelis and kidnapped not only men but children and the elderly and raped women and treated the hostages poorly like they are not human beings. They watch the ones that are left because some have been released but threatened them. I want you to ask questions rather than guess. I hope that gave you an idea. We are at war not only with them but all those that do not let us live in peace and quiet. Hugs back to you.

I missed you too. We are at War and have been since Hamas murdered and kidnapped people from the South. We are ok and want to move. I am for sure not happy here and when I have to charge my scooter have to sit in it because there are those that want to mess with it and me here.

No matter how we change the clocks, it really does not change a thing. The sun comes up and goes down. We just wake up at different times to use it.

THAT’S the way to do daylight savings time: when it chops an hour off the work week!
I agree, I don’t care for the time change. It takes me a week to “get used to it,” and I’m retired and don’t have to get up and go to work!

It’s been several weeks since we adjusted our clocks for daylight Savings. I’m looking forward to some sunny days.

We have already changed ours; and I always love the extra hour of daylight in the evening. Have a good weekend.

Oh, I did not know that Israel follows timezone as well.
I understand that it can happen when a region changes its clocks.
We followed certain timezone in the Philippones, but it did not last longer. They reverted it to the normal standard time.

As long as I have lived here then we have changed our clocks for both winter and summer. So, does that mean you do not change your clocks anymore?
