The Meaning of Life

United States
March 29, 2024 12:51pm CST
What is it to you? Have you found a meaning to it? The meaning for me is one sole person that keeps me going, someone that I am of service to and happily. This brings meaning to my life. I used to have many people I was of service to, but that faded after I retired. Is there some great meaning for you in your life? What fulfills you and makes your life meaningful?

Too many to mention. For example, the appreciation and acknoledgement of God, the universe, nature, waking up in the morning to the sounds of chirping birds, being able to give a helping hand where needed. I could go on and on.

It appears that my life is now to serve Freddie and Tish and make sure they are happy with their lives. Something funny is going on in the atmosphere or things are getting mixed up in Heaven above, Maybe because of Easter coming, But one night I dreamt about Martin which was good just don't remember too much of the dream and then another night about my first husband, So now when I got to sleep I wonder who else will pop up,

I love and take care of my family - and in turn I believe they love and take care of me - makes it all meaningful and fulfilling .

My husband truly is my world and I adore our kids, but I wouldn't want to live on this planet without Jesus.

There is only one answer to the meaning of life and that is 42! Douglas Adams told us this in The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Honestly, I am not sure yet. I have been searching for my purpose for 34 years which was when I graduated high school. I am still searching. I think it is a lifelong process maybe and we never really find the reason while we are on Earth If there is a reason mine MIGHT be to be my cat's human mommy who sees to his every possible need.

That is a big question, with a surprisingly simple answer. The writer of Ecclesiastes said: 'The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man.' Keeping His laws is a protection and only does us good. 'If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river.' Isaiah 48:18 He intended that mankind live, happily, enjoying life in health with dear ones - working to look after our beautiful earthly home as one big, diverse human family.

what makes my life meaningful was when I found the love of my life. All I ever wanted was to find someone who really loved me and once I found it I was really happy

Life is mysterious. It has mixed definitions and purposes. One meaning is to go to the world and multiply but i failed to multiply

I have my family, my husband and son...but outside of them...I don't really have an answer. I still don't even know what I want to be when I grow up, and it is a little too late for that.

life is a journey, but life here on earth is a school designed to prepare us for a higher and beautiful life in the afterlife.

I am not sure I believe this anymore. I think it is suffering and then we are gone that's all. I never thought I would think like this. I had great faith, but never got an answer to my prayers..never in no way shape or form. Only deep suffering and for my son as well. No help from no heavenly anything.

I would like to live a life to it's fullness. To me, that means, always try to improve myself as a person, cherish the people I love, help those in need, and contribute to the society whenever I can.
