It Was Sooo Cold

The first winter outing for Sebastian was a road trip to Ontario in December of 2019. Son after we were enroute the temperature dropped and snow began to fall.
Poor Sebastian sat shivering in the van when we stopped for a coffee. No coat, no blanket, nothing to keep him warm.
What to do?
I opened my travel bag and pulled out a pair of socks. Hmmm, will this work?
Tucked Sebastian into the sock….yup, toasty warm.
Once we were in Ontario it was determined that I would need to make a coat and hat for our little travel companion.
Thus began a wardrobe for a little stuffed bear.

When we were travelling, strangers would offer to take photos when I was attempting to pose Sebastian for a photo.
He has been photographed in so many places.

Sebastian has his own hat and coat now. He’s toasty warm.

We broke down and purchased sunglasses for the little guy. $12. But it include a travel bag (bear sized), a passport, a camera, a cellphone….so I’d say Sebastian is all set. I made his little coat and hat, as well as his mask.

Sebastian does look toasty warm in his sock. I had to crochet an outfit for a koala once.
