An unexpected treat

Today's weather was supposed to be cloudy with possible rain but good ol' Sol fought his way out and it was quite a pleasant afternoon. I did a bit more yard clean up and sat in the sun drinking tea and reading for a bit. The clouds started threatening the sun again at 5pm, so I came in. Had some cheese and an orange and that'll do me for now, because I don't feel like fixing anything else for supper.

We had clouds and drizzly rain most of the day. May get storms tonight, time will tell. Glad you had the chance to be outside while it was nice weather.

I thought it might rain overnight but it didn't and now (next morning) that strange cloud cover is back. It looks like what we had last summer with all the forest fires.

Sounds like a day well spent. We want some rain badly to bring down the rising mercury. It's bright and very sunny outside. Too hot for any outdoor activities.
