The Solar Eclipse is coming up quickly. This Monday, April 8, there will be a total eclipse for those of you in its path. Are you in the path of totality? Will you be watching (with special glasses)? There won't be another one until 2099!!!
Hubby's second cousin took me for my mammogram yesterday. I treated her to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Longhorn Steakhouse - Bread, stuffed mushrooms, strawberry salad, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Chocolate Wave Cake and Ice Cream. My chicken tenders were overdone; so the manager comped my dinner and gave me a whole new order to take home. I was very pleased with the customer service. I had a coupon for a free Chocolate Wave for my birthday. I put my Meals on Wheels lunch in the freezer.
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate Wave Cake and Ice Cream. They give you two huge pieces of cake; so I have enough for another night.
Dinner - None

The power ball is high. No, I don't buy lottery tickets.
You had a wonderful meal with your husband's cousin.
Yesterday I had an egg salad sandwich for breakfast and strawberries with whipped cream. No bananas in the house and lots of egg salad. Lunch was a lamb sandwich followed after Canasta with lamb and gravy over mashed potatoes. I go grocery shopping today. Bananas will be back on my menu.

@LindaOHio It was, but when you have egg salad made with 12 hard-boiled eggs, it gets to be a bit much. I still have a lot of hard-boiled eggs to use up. It won't be in egg salad for a long time.

I have no idea if I will be able to see it or not. That's a long time until the next one...75 years? Seems there was another one more recent - but maybe it wasn't a total one? I'd also like to win that money, but I know the odds are not great and I have no luck.
That's great to hear about the customer service there, and that they did that when the meal was not how you liked. Chicken tenders and the cake sound great.

I remember one about 30 years ago. I don't know if it was a total eclipse.

I thought about buying a Powerball ticket, but didn't do it. I feel like I might as well flush the money down the toilet. Longhorn meal sounds good. I had Arby's Greek Gyro yesterday. Arby's is always a cut above with their food..and that was one big sandwich for 5 bucks, very good too.
