As you can see, I didn't deviate much from the beginning weight. This week I've been exhausted and trying to get my energy back after Easter when I was on my feet the entire day. Other than Sunday, I didn't get over 10K steps until Wednesday. Even yesterday was hard getting my steps. Right now, I have all my steps for the day. I'll still work on the foot cycle when I watch TV later. How are you doing with your weight? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

You might want to try reducing your daily calorie intake. 1600 and 1700 is a lot. And as I always say try reducing the bananas and potatoes. Increase your intake of green vegetables which provide nutrients and fiber without jacking up the carb intake.

I eat one banana a day. More if they're ripe. I don't waste bananas. With the exercise plan I have with the app; it starts at 1705 for the calorie budget. I try to keep it less than that, but it doesn't always work. I started eating salads, but I've never been a salad lover, so it's something I need to work at. I have other fruit I eat every day too. But I need my bananas. I don't eat a lot of potatoes. The most I did was this week because I had a lot of leftovers from Easter. My son and his girlfriend didn't take a lot home with them. Basically, I only have a potato now if I have eggs for breakfast and even that is less than once a week now, since I need to increase my fiber intake. So, high-fiber cereals are my breakfast with fruit. If I make a large meal, I'll make a potato to go with it. I don't do that often either. More often I have jasmine rice with fish.

@just4him I'm just going off of what you used to post about your meals. You don't post about them these days. I would suggest mixing up the calories with lower calorie days and then bigger ones. Salads are good but you can also do like baby carrots with ranch or hummus, celery with almond or peanut butter, marinated cucumbers, etc.

@NJChicaa I like everything except hummus. I've never had it and never will. It looks gross. I can't do baby carrots anymore or any hard vegetables. I need to cook them to eat them. I have no choppers on top. My dentures don't work, so I don't wear them. I love almond butter and eat it with apples a lot. I cut those up to make it easier to eat.

I see that your weight is more or less the same as it was one week ago. I lost a little this week, I was not hungry and had no bread and potatoes, but more vegetables.

You haven't gained any weight, you're doing a great job! My weight never changes, it stays the same. What are you referring to, Calorie Budget?

My app shows a calorie budget based on the amount of exercise I get daily. It starts at 1705 because of the high amount of exercise I do daily. And adds in the time factor for the exercise. For instance, so far today I have walked for 67 minutes, most of it on the trail, and burned 318 calories. That 318 calories adds to the calorie budget, giving me a calorie budget right now of 2023. That will increase when I get on the foot cycle in a short while when I log off the computer and watch TV. I generally cycle between 45 minutes and one hour, the length of one episode.

@just4him That's a very convenient system. To have your calories burned calculated, for each activity.

Well that is good that it didn't go up very much in those 2 weeks, I know we'd rather see a loss on the scale...but when a lot is going on and stuff it can be harder to even maintain!

@MommyOfEli2013 It's been pretty good. I got excited when I saw the scale go down to 201, but it went right back to 202.

@just4him So then not staying around the same for those weeks is not too bad!

I'm sorry your weight is up since Christmas. I'm glad it's coming down. Maybe a definite food plan would help lose weight.

Holding steady for the most part..but I was gratified when I put my bubble jacket back on yesterday and it was noticeably looser and the sleeves were long in me. I have lost weight in quite a few places..but not around my waist really..That has me annoyed.. You are doing OK..you are doing so much work on this are you highlighting what you are eating on the days you lose?

I'm glad your bubble jacket is looser and you're losing weight in a few places. I understand about not losing it where you want it. I'm starting to see weight loss in my thighs. It took years for me to see a change there.

@kaylachan I'm glad it's not a concern. It is for me. I need to get back to a normal weight. I've been fighting it for far too long, but I'm not giving up. I'll get there.

I had a big meal at Longhorn Steakhouse and am now eating the leftovers. I got on the scale and quickly stepped off. I need to cut back on food for about a week! Have a good weekend.

I lost weight because I can't eat much. You exercise often. I think you are in a better mood when you exercise so often. I wish I could have the energy to exercise.
