A resident in California leaves a box with live grenades inside of a police station

A box that contained live grenades was taken to a police station in California

I wonder what was the thinking of a Pleasanton California resident who took inside of a police station on April Fools Day a box that the resident found in his garage who took the box to the police station. The Pleasanton Police Department officers had to call the Alameda County Bomb Squad to remove the box from the lobby and destroy the live grenades. Thank goodness that no one was hurt in the incident. The police officers are asking who sees live ammunition in their residences not to take the ammunition to a police station. The reason that the person who brought in the box that contained the live grenades into the police station did not know that the grenades were alive and he had no intention of harming anyone. That man was really dumb! When you find something like that, you go far from it with your cellphone and call 911.

That is the police officers are telling everyone that if they see any live ammo on the street or ground do not touch the ammo.

That's dumb, scary and dangerous. We have so many weirdos in the world that destroy it little by little.

That is what I am thinking since some people have an ax to grind with police officers and they are not above the thinking of harming a police officer claiming to be an accident.

I have been amazed at how many people have live grenades in their garage. Half the time they think they are dummy grenades until they mess around with one, and something gets blown up or off. People find them left from previous owners as those idiot owners forget they left them in their garage.

It is close to an act of terrorism bringing a box with grenades inside of a police station.

I'm wondering why he took them there but then you have to wonder if he had no other place to take them.

He should have called the police to come and get them instead of taking them to the police station.

I agree with you. I guess the person acted in an irrational way dealing with the situation.

That was a dumb move, Any one of the grenades could have gone off in the transportation of them, The person should have left them alone in his garage and told the police what he had,

Living in Pleasanton, maybe he thought that it was a pleasant thing to do, but the fact that he did it on April Fool's day, indicates that he had unpleasant motives behind this act, and it was a foolhardy thing to do. Perhaps he should have been charged with reckless, and dangerous behaviour.

That is true since there are movies where an evil character brings in a suitcase filled with explosives get inside a building.

@Deepizzaguy at least police officers pointed out that they will take care of this in the future so no need to carry it out to them
