Do You Have Plans in Place?

Do you have plans in place for your death? What will happen to your body after death? I do not. But in my situation, I will be cremated most likely. Even that seems to be expensive these days. I'd like the option to be cremated free and donate your body to science where your family gets your ashes back. It's totally free. That seems the best option to me.

I have the paperwork on my cremation. Got a good deal. That was one thing Josh gave me money for. I have my organs being given but not sure about the other part of it. But I do have cremation insurance.

@RebeccasFarm .......He sure is. He is a jewel in my life. He and I are both Scorpios and we have quite a bond. Something about Scorpios-- they either take an instant liking to someone or they don't.

My friend donated her body to the university. That was free. I don't have my plans written down.

@RebeccasFarm I guess the university doesn't have space for every body.

We took care of that last year. The way family crap had been going, we just had to. If anything, we wanted to square that away so our kids would not ever feel they have to scramble. We are doing it our way - not in the traditions of our family - we all gotta do what we gotta do.

Yes we got to do it as good as we possibly can for our kids I understand. Shame you cant follow the family tradition but I realize what that would entail.

Yes, we have burial plans typed up. We both want to be cremated, but have our ashes buried in an urn in front of our headstone in our local cemetery.

I really don't have a plan on what to have done after I die other than to be creamated & what ever happens after that I don't know cause it's just me & husband & no friends or family to take care of my remains, so what ever happens is up to who ever takes charge or do what they do.
