Yay! My apartment pants are here!

I've been wanting these for months. If you read my posts regularly then you know that I am a huge fan of things like Jimmy Buffett, Outlander, and the TV show Friends. When we were in COVID lockdown and I worked virtually for over a year I learned that TBS shows Friends reruns from like 10 am to 4 pm. The show always makes me laugh even when I know what is coming. I have some Friends-themed items in this apartment. I have a couch pillow that says "the cushions are the essence of the chair". I have a plastic yellow frame on the inside of the door around the peephole. I have an ornament that is about Matthew Perry and says "the one when we all lost a friend". The doormat asks delivery people to weigh in on if Ross and Rachel were on a break. I even have a t-shirt that says "WE ARE ON A BREAK #teacherbelike " for the summer. Well today the newest addition to my Friends collection has arrived--sweatpants that say "apartment pants". Yes I live in an apartment but that isn't what it is about. In an episode of the show where Rachel's spoiled younger sister Jill shows up she goes shopping with her father's credit card which she wasn't supposed to do. She justifies the purchases to Phoebe and Ross and says that the pants she bought were "don't you want to rent me this apartment pants?" When Rachel shows up and sees all of the bags she gets angry so Jill says that Phoebe and Ross bought that stuff. Phoebe, in her flaky manner, said "these are my, um, apartment pants". Rachel, who is in fashion, claims to have heard of apartment pants before and even eventually promotes them to her boss. (they did not exist) So Ms Friends Fan was scrolling through Etsy and saw that you can buy sweatpants that say "Apartment Pants" in the Friends distinctive writing. I had to wait some time to order them but I eventually did last month and now they are finally here. Yup I'm wearing them right now. I sent a picture of them to my former neighbor (Whiskey's owner) and she thought it was hysterical and said "yup that is so you". It is the little things that make me happy.
