This story was told to us from a partner about her husband that died in the war. She told us what he was like and yes he came to live here like I did from the United States. I would say he came at a very early age and I came as an adult. I hope you will be able to read this story. I read most of it but not all:

I read it although I don´t usually read stories that glorify war in any way. I´m very sorry for the fami,y and the children.

@marguicha It did not glorify the war. It was a story of one soldier and about his life.

This is the part of war people don’t think about, that each one of those soldiers have lives and families and hopes and dreams, and now all that has been shattered.

@Hannihar They say war is never a good thing, but I disagree. For example, stopping Hitler in WWII was a necessary and justifiable war to stop pure evil from taking over Europe, and possibly the world.

Such a loving father and husband cannot be replaced but I hope the family will receive all the support they need. This is what people need to hear about war: stories about people, not just places and numbers.

@sabtraversa He loved this country and was building a life here for his family. Our soldiers do not just go off to war, but, they do it not only to protect their families but to protect this country against our enemies.
