Why do not the catfish are having the fur?

I know there is some group (or perhaps cult would be a better word) of these strange looking hairless cats, but they are not normal. Normal cats have fur.
Therefore catfish should have fur.
But you silly Hoomins think whiskers make it a cat.
Hoomins are dumbos.
All mammals (except great apes and Hoomins) have whiskers.
You need find fish-head 'nother name.

@wolfgirl569 I have read the same. The daughter of my neighbor wanted a Sphynx cat, her mom refused because those cats need special care.

Yes they do in a sense. And they use them to feel for things like most animals do

A 'catfish' is someone who deceits others by pretending to be more attractive than what they really are, exactly what this fish does because it's far from being as cute as a kitten.

That cat in the photo is sure ugly. In your infinite wisdom tell me why it has no fur. Yep, unfortunately, I think that is why silly hoomins named that fish catfish because of its whiskers, What can ya do?

My son and his wife have a hairless dog. Lenny is so sweet, but he never seems to be warm enough! What does he do about this? He cuddles up in my son Chad's chin whiskers!

Looks like ET only a scary looking ET. A friend of mine had some breed of Hairless Dog..Silly looking dog, his tongue was hanging outside of his mouth. Sweet dog, and so Ugly he was Cute..LOL
