Friend and Jax are coming down today. We are dropping my car off for some brake work. It seems like I just did that, but it has probably been a year. Sometimes it seems like things just happened, but has been a longer period of time. Oh well. Have a good one.

It's crazy how fast time flies by. I have to renew my drivers license and it seems as if I just did it when in actuality it's been 4 years already. Hope your day goes well and the car gets fixed quickly and there's no hidden expenses.

It won't be done until tomorrow. They will have to order a brake kit most likely. It could even run into Thursday, but I sure hope not.

Thanks, we will see. If I know friend..he will spend most of it sleeping..what fun! Jax will be demanding food every few minutes..the usual drill.

Brakes are one of those things that need periodic maintenance but I am going to have them check the brake and fuel lines for leaks as well. I think I could be leaking brake fluid.

@LadyDuck Yes, well you don't drive the way I do. The majority of my trips are long unfortunately. Even the short trips are not that short.

These local people are cheap. At least the garage I go to, some of them aren't. I wouldn't necessarily vouch for their workmanship, but they seem to do an adequate job.

It does seem to go fast. Except when you want something to be over then it will take forever.

I told my husband that it had been at least 2 years since we've had dogs; and he won't believe me. Time goes by so fast. Have a good day.

Yeah, it does. I haven't had a dog for almost 10 years. I don't want one either..but if I met the "perfect" dog I guess that could change. If something happens to friend, I will be inheriting his dog though. I am more of a cat person. I do like little Jax though.
