Looking for Warmth

When we were in West Virginia our neighbor found this sweet baby under the hood of their car. Thank God they heard its cries or it could have been injured or killed when the car was turned on. It was a really cold night and was probably seeking warmth and shelter. It’s a good idea to bang the hood above your car engine. Fur babies do get into these tight spaces. I didn’t see it under the hood at first. Can you see it ?

@Tampa_girl7 I´m not a cat person as I don´t like animals inside my house. But I love those kitiy´s faces. Claudia´s first cat was superb when he was young. He looks now like an old dirty mop with no ears (he had cancer). But he has his place in the biggest sofa in Claudia´s house.

No, I couldn't. However, that's why we don't let our cat out in the garage. He could still get in that engine and we'd never know.

@Tampa_girl7 That's how our cats have been. Mama, who had been a neighborhood stray, took to being our indoor girl as soon as we brought her here.

@Tampa_girl7 Thank goodness your neighbor found it. Ya never know what could be hiding in or under a car.
It’s nice to be back - at least for now. I’m making an effort to be here more.
Hope your family is doing well.

Yes, animals do get hurt this way. I forget to bang on my hood as much as I should.

Poor little kitty. We actually adopted a kitty years ago that my son found the same way (hiding by the car engine) and it was orange just like the kitty in your picture. Since he found it in a car he named it Ford after the make of the car We had that cat for a long time.

Yes, I see it. Dangerous place for a cat. Have a good day.
