Day two about my kidhood

Yes I was born in a rural area and lived on a farm when I was little. But kids have to do what their adults tell them to do. Family atom bombs went off more than once and that landed me in town then further- to Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. The architecture! The Gothic churches! I still love architecture and old houses. More family atom bombs: my Mom moved us back to rural Washington state. I had some sweet teen years back on the farm I was born on. The lady I am named after actually owned the twenty acres. My family just acted like we did. My Dad was an Illinois farm boy. And the story went that as he got out on his own, he headed to Montana and broke broncs. He looked it so maybe that story was not made up. So I had some years on a farm. Even when I was in the Midwest something in me wanted to go back. Now I am an getting older person and I can not afford to live in the county that calls my name. I settled for the Southwest part of my state cause at least there is plenty of green and fir trees and parks to wander in when I am feeling good enough.

@wolfgirl569 I miss having acreage to walk on. I don't miss the dryness and the nasty weeds and for sure I don't miss those ugly neighbors.

It is interesting how some people bounce around and some stay stable, or relatively so.

@snowy22315 "bounce around" describes the first years of my marrage due to money issues.

I really miss the space and countryside but that's all in the past for me too.

Great memories. We live in a semi-rural area; and we love it. Have a good day.
