How much are you willing to pay for a box of 6 cookies?
Have you ever heard of Keksi Cookies? I have wanted to try them, but when I went to the website, I discovered they were $39.99 for a box of 6 and $54.99 for a box of 12. I don't know about you, but there is no way I am paying that much money for a box of a few cookies. I don't care how good they are. I can't fathom why anyone would pay that much for such a small amount of cookies.
Oh well, guess I will never know if they are good or not. I will stick to making my own.

Most of that supremely over priced stuff is worse than something that costs half as much. I wanted to try Tate's Chocolate Chip cookies one time. I was so disappointed. They tasted like butter with no chocolatey flavor at all

@snowy22315 Sad to hear the quality doesn't match the price by large. I like my cookies "freshly" baked, still warm that'd be, so they'll never be up to my standards anyway.

@sabtraversa There is a store called Insomnia cookies available in some places that will deliver warm, freshly baked cookies in the middle of the night! Started for college students with the munchies no doubt!

That’s ridiculously expensive, good grief. I can make a batch of really good cookies for very little money and effort, I’m sure you can as well. I guess some people must have money to burn.

I went down the wrong isle the other day at the grocery store. I never look at the gazillion boxes of sugared cereal, because I don't eat it or buy it. But I had to detour to get around several workers changing a big display. I looked at the prices on the cereal, OMG. Over $5-6 for one single box of sugary trashy cereal?? Who buys this stuff??? I do have a friend who works in this store. She says most of the cereals they sell now are the ones that are generic sugar cereals in a bag, that mimic fruity pebbles or coco puffs or something...they are cheaper. I consider purchases like that foolish, it's not even good food.
Someone said the other day that buying Oreos was now a big treat. I am a big, big sale searcher! More now than ever!

@MarieCoyle Those cereals are overpriced, but people can't afford the healthy foods. To buy ingredients to make homemade granola and avoid all the additives is close to $20, that's if you get as pure of ingredients as possible.
They don't want us eating healthy. "They" need us to be sick and unhealthy. And they need us to be broke so we will beg the government to take care of us which serves a whole different agenda.
Those generic bag cereals are gross. They leave this chalky film in your bowls and your mouth. We had people buy some for our kids when they were little, and I ate some too when we were low on groceries. But it is something many are thankful for when it is all they can get.
I agree with you, though. most of those cereals are trashy.

It was fun entering a cookie website and being told "accept all cookies".
I've never heard of Keksi Cookies before, they seem large. I'm not into cookies in general so I wouldn't buy any, otherwise I would pay up to $2, maybe $2.50, for a cookie like that. That makes a total of $15 for a box of 6, meaning I'd make my own too.

I like cookies a lot but I would not that steep price for such a small amount of cookies.
