Tomorrow is an historic day for the United States of America.

For the first time in the history of the United States of America, The Horse will have root canal surgery on a tooth that literally fell out last week while he was eating dried mango.
Can the root be saved? Will the infection go into his jaw, killing him? Will he have a space in his mouth that will not be seen by regular folks in the population?
Americans need to know.
The surgery is at 8 AM. Hopefully he will be able to do what needs to be done later in the day.
If you were hoping for information about the first former American president ever to face opening arguments in a criminal trial against him, please view this link.
But please root for The Horse's beloved jaw.

Maybe you are too young and that´s why you are having your first root canal surgery. It is nothing to be afraid of and it will never show unless they X ray your teeth later on. The dentist will KILL the nerve and place something in the hole.

Sorry about that. Will you get a replacement, either an implant or some sort of bridge?

How did your tooth get to that point? Do you go to the dentist on a regular basis? Don't be afraid...you shouldn't feel a thing. Keep us posted, OK?

Glad you saved the tooth. I had a root canal. It was a piece of cake. The worst part was having to go back twice

@TheHorse They weren't able to do the whole thing on the first visit. I was just glad they were able to save the tooth. It was pretty badly fractured.

Prayers all will go well. My husband has had 3 root canals in his day. The worst day is the first day. From then on, it is good.

I would not call root canal "surgery", it's a dental procedure to remove infected pulp from the inside of the tooth and seal it with a rubber-like material. It saves the natural tooth and prevent reinfection. I had one years ago and the tooth is still there and healthy.

@TheHorse I don’t ever want to experience it once, and yet you’ve done it several times? Yikes!
