Hot chocolate in April, who would thought:)

And i finally made it according to recipe
First melting the chocolate, then adding the milk, not mixing it together to get things faster and with pieces of chocolate
It was surprisingly good and that is my intake of sweets for today. it is exactly 50 F and i'm under my blanket but very soon i'll start exercising to get warmer.
Yesterday we had such a sunny day; today, not so and i can feel it.
Don't forget your sweet intake for today!

I wouldn't mind some hot chocolate either, temps dropped here too.
Your recipe sounds interesting, I usually use cocoa powder while in your case you gotta melt chocolate which sounds like an opportunity to make something out of the Easter eggs that still hang around here.

@grenery8 Oh! I don't mind temps dropping, if that means summer will be late. I don't look forward the extreme heat, the mosquitoes etc. Unfortunately a cold week of April doesn't guarantee summer won't be hell.

@sabtraversa you are right about that. this is like postponing summer but in one or two days, as we see, weather and temps can go up or down

I love hot chocolate. Sometimes on a cool evening I will make some and we will sit outside and enjoy a cup of it. I consider it a delicious dessert!

Sometimes, we have a fire in the fire pit and sit outside near it. So nice. We’ve carried a blanket or two out there before! It’s just a fun time for us, thank you.
