Senior Moments

Happy Friday Everyone! Today is my oldest daughter and son in laws 26th wedding anniversary. My son in law took the day off from work so they're going to do something and enjoy the day together. I got a very pretty pop up card for them so when you open it a whole bouquet of flowers opens up. I thought it would be nice instead of a regular card. I wrote it out the other day and put a check in the card. This morning my daughter called to thank me for the check and asked me why I hadn't written anything in the card. I guess I was distracted when I writing the check and never realized that I didn't write anything in the card itself. DUH!! Guess I was having a senior moment. We got a chuckle out of my senior moment. I'm finding that I get distracted easily these days. Gone are my days of multi-tasking. How many times I've picked up my phone and then couldn't remember why I had picked it up or what I was going to do.

That is one of those things. I have always had ADHD, but I find lately things fly out of my head in two seconds. It gets on my nerves!

I often get up, move to another room and when I am there I wonder why I went there. Same when I open a browser to search something, the time I get the browser running I forgot.

Happy Anniversary to your daughter and SIL. I always keep lists. What I hate is when I think of something to put on the list; and then by the time I find the list, I can't remember what it was I wanted to add. Sigh. Have a good weekend.

I am so easily distracted, also. I'm often surprised to come across something that I had not finished before going on to something else.
