Can You Believe It's May Already?

Happy Wednesday Everyone! a beautiful sunny day here today with bright blue skies and white puffy clouds. We had a wicked thunderstorm last night around 8pm. The thunder wasn't so bad but the lightening was fierce. The lights flicked a few times and I was sure the power would go out. Thankfully we didn't lose power and the storm only lasted a few hours.
Today is my Uncles birthday so I'll call him in a few hours. I know he doesn't get up early and he'll probably be swamped with calls today since he has a big family and lots of grandchildren. I know I'm his favorite niece even though he won't actually admit it 
This is a busy month for my family. Aside from my Uncle we have 3 other birthdays and Mothers Day coming up.
I feel so much better today compared to yesterdays aches and pains. I slept well and am ready to tackle the day.
But first....coffee and chatting here for awhile

@Marilynda1225 Yes it is probably going to be another dump up the street..no choice right now..course it will be not til September end of August.

I had a great chat with my uncle. He's 92 yrs old today, still drives and goes to the gym at least 2x a week.
I'm never quite sure what day it is anymore

It started out foggy and 9°C/49°F but turned into quite a beautiful sunny day, with a temperature of 24°C/75°F. It's still sunny and 24° but a few clouds are moving in.

Oh yeah, one more month and we're half the year already! Now, that you reminded me, I have to make a few purchases for mother's day, it's just around the corner. Happy Birthday to your uncle and advance greetings to the 3 upcoming ones!
