I am Finally Feeling Healthy Again

Well, the first 4 months of 2024 did not go well for me health-wise since I had a heart attack in January and the CT scan on my neck in February showed a thyroid nodule which ended up being early-stage thyroid cancer. I am feeling good and healthy now and am going to cardiac rehab 3 times per week, and also starting back at the fitness center in my community.
While I am grateful that the cancer was found early, and my thyroid was removed with a great pathology report, I am a bit anxious about some upcoming tests I am having.
Tomorrow I am going to my annual visit with my "women's doctor"...you know what I mean I hope, to have an annual test done. I am hoping for the best and no more cancer for me. Then 2 weeks from now, I have 2 more appts for CT scans on my head, chest, and abdomen. to make sure I don't have any narrowed arteries that could cause another SCAD heart attack.
I'm hoping I am healthy and will be for a long time now. At least for another 15 months until I am old enough for Medicare. Yikes, these hospital visits are costing me a fortune!

I sure hope so. Although you never know what the new tests will find. I just have to trust God on this and keep moving forward.

Good to read you are feeling healthy!
Well, I've had some weird chest pains that seem to amount to nothing when I went to the emergency room. I have an appointment with a Cardiologist in July. The pains just come and go.

That is a lot to deal with, so worrisome and exhausting. I hope you get good results from all the tests, and continue to feel better, Karen.

if hospital doesn't cost you, the trip to them is also a cost, sorry
i believe you are on your way of recovery.
i am visiting my dentist tomorrow, some gums issue, that's it. i went to hospitals last year and in february so i hope no more for this year.

I’m so sorry you’ve had a bad 2024 thus far. I pray things get better for you health-wise, especially with the “female doctor” visit.
