I can’t believe I just let out a long sigh….
Just want to update you on a couple of things.
I’m looped! I wanted to use up a tiny wedge of lime, so made myself a gin and tonic. 
. Waste not, want not is my motto!
Hubs and my brother are out on the street with our loaded to the brim cars. Finally, the car transport service arrived. Our cars will arrive in Connecticut on Sunday, which sure beats interfering with our pizza dinner with our younger son Friday night.
We are all checked in for our flight tomorrow morning at 11:00AM. I always worry that the airlines will leave us stranded.
And the BEST thing of all is that Orville the osprey has returned to say goodbye. He’s in the photo above. I actually said a prayer last night that he was alive, because I haven’t seen or heard him in over three weeks. (Mrs. Orville hatched her eggs
), so he’s been busy I suspect.
Just about all cleaned up here, except for last minute stuff, and getting excited to return north now that I know Orville the osprey is alive and well. Thank the Lord!

@kaylachan So they say. I have a ritual - right foot foot first, tapping the outside of the plane as we board, and praying multiple times. Hope to see you afterwards

We bought a bottle of gin a couple of months ago. At first, I didn’t care for it and went back to vodka. However, when I noticed the vodka diminishing in the bottle, which I need for my Friday night martinis, I tried a little bit of gin. It wasn’t bad. So there you have it! I think I poured too much in the first time.
What kind of bourbon do you drink? We bought Jim Beam for my brother’s wife when they come for dinner, but she only likes Jack Daniels. So we bought that, and now it will sit in our liquor cabinet until next year

Oh, he’s great, thank you. I just got off FaceTime with him. He was telling us about a new person he just hired. He knew her since his radio days. He will pick us up at the airport and loaded up our refrigerator for us today. We will also see him and his girlfriend Friday evening for dinner at one of our favorite pizza restaurants. Hubs has to help him put in a new post for his mailbox, but it can wait for a week. lol3 people like this

You may be right! A friend just stopped by to borrow something and told me how beautiful I look. I barely combed my hair today, not wearing a drop of makeup, and wearing old crappy clothes. And to think all my makeup being shipped home will probably melt
