Quokkas Are So Cute

May 6, 2024 9:08am CST
There was an article or snapshot or something today about the Quokka on Bing, so I thought it would be fun to talk about. Isn't this one just so cute? Sticking his little tongue out. Quokkas are native to Australia. They are related to the marsupial family in that the are a macropod. They ten to weigh between 5 1/2 and 12 pounds and about 1 1/2 ft to 2 ft long with a 12 inch tail. Female quokkas can give birth twice a year to a single baby called a "Joey" and will give birth to about 17 babies in their lifetimes. They are herbivores and chew grass like cows chew cud.
