Firstly, I want to apologize for not giving you any news these days, they have been complicated days but thank God everything is going well. My daughter left the hospital yesterday, she still can't go to school for at least 2 weeks. She has a hepatology appointment on the 16th to check if her liver values are closer to normal.
I was also tested for hepatitis A and as it came back negative, I got the vaccine. My husband and son will also get the shot. As it is not a vaccine that is part of the vaccination plan, I did not know it existed. It's a shame I didn't know about the existence of the vaccine beforehand, all this suffering could have been avoided.
Now time, lots of rest and a balanced diet will do the rest for her to fully recover.
Thank you all for your love, prayers and messages, those who have friends are never alone.

Thank you for the update. I hope she continues to heal quickly. Any ideas as to how she caught it?

It seems almost everyone who gets hepatitis A fully recover and I believe she will recover too. It is important to know what vaccines exist, we can protect ourselves and our family.

I didn't know about the vaccines either until I found out I had Hepatitis C. Before taking the medicine for Hepatitis C, I had to get the vaccines for both Hepatitis A and B.

A beautiful picture. I´m glad that your daughter is better. I remember that I had to be on a diet for some time when I had hepatitis A decades ago.

I'm so happy to hear that your daughter is on the road to recovery. I didn't know a vaccine existed for hepatitis either.
Will continue sending prayers and positive thoughts for her and your family. I can imagine how stressful this must have been for you
