It took Kitty only about three minutes to come home after I did. She is a bit of a trollop (but I still love her) and I am sure she did fine with Austin.
As I was starting to unpack, she appeared at my door, stared at me, and did not blink or move. She just stared.. I was able to go get my cell phone, walk back to near my front door, and take this picture.
I'll do some posts about my Native Chicago soon. Being with old friends was a blast.

She is in the corner, whispering in cat language~
''Remember how you said you loved me, and would never leave me, not ever?? You lied.''
You've got some making up to do, dear.

Rumor has it that tomorrow she will be demanding fresh ocean fish, so get out your fishing pole!

I am sure kitty was happy to see you in her way. Nico's love is usually understated..but sometimes I do get the kitty hugs when I have been gone.

You should take her up to the cabin with you. She could rule the roost for a few days, catch some mountain-mice to munch on, and help you with your projects.

I think she's wondering if you brought her any corned beef.
