Supposedly around 2 this afternoon guests will arrive for a one night stay over. Hubby knows the woman through a friend that died a few years ago. (Fred cat is named after that person.) Neither of us have met these people in person. So its pick up stuff, find another place for that stuff, vacuum fur clumps, get the cat pan cleaned and out of the way cause the folks will sleep on the hide a bed in my study. IF they show. I decided to quit thinking about how the house looks for a few minutes- I made some yeasty sesame filled dough and twisted it into little braided bread sticks. Its a good way to calm down and quit thinking about what mess needs to be cleaned.

I hope it goes well. I try to remember that guests come to see us not the house but it doesn't always help.

@JudyEv It went very well. They're in bed now and I really need to get to bed- it is almost 11 pm. Mr. guest had a good time exchanging silly jokes with my hubby.

Visiting guests are always stressful. I hope you can get it all done to your satisfaction. If you don't, I doubt anyone will notice.

@RasmaSandra We're waiting to see if they will show up. At least I managed to get some fur off the blanket for their bed. (Cleaned the blanket so now we have clean fur.) I raked the blanket with a small hand gizmo.
