Guess what in a shocker, more storms today. The good thing is they should be done early. They may be violent like the last ones though..so fingers crossed they won't match those in intensity. I was looking at the radar, they are green and yellow instead of red, so they might not be too bad. This rain helps with the drought we have been having, and they said that we are now above the average in rainfall for the month, but might still have some catching up to do since it went on for so long previously. Wishing you a good weather day. What is on tap for today for you?

@snowy22315 Well, I didn’t get any late night texts, which usually I do. That tends to keep me awake. I think the other reason might be because while I drifted off a few times yesterday, I didn’t take a full nap.

That's wonderful! Any idea what led to the good sleep? I slept OK, of course I usually wake up around 4:30 or 5 which is too early. I woke up at 1 something that past couple of nights. I was able to get back to sleep though. Once the early awakening was due to Nico, and I don't know what last night's was. I am afraid it will become a new "thing."

@AmbiePam Yes, too much napping during the day can really impact your nighttime sleep. I have been going to bed a bit earlier than I probably should..but I get so tired of sitting out here I am just ready to go to bed by 10. That goes especially for the weekend.

It's a rainy day here today but hopefully we don't get any bad storms. Our radar right now shows the severe storms below us more in the Philadelphia area.

I'm glad the storms look a little less intense today. After what you went through with the last round, I'd be happy to see green and yellow on the radar instead of red too. Hopefully they bring a good soaking rain without the damaging winds or hail.

I suspect the winds will be gusting, but as long as nothing bouncing off the house and windows I will be happy. I guess we may have had hail last time, but whatever it was it was dark and no evidence of it in the morning. Some of the small branches hurled my way also had acorns on them which could have caused some of the racket.
