I have read all the books. I think the last movie was no where as good as the book. They left so much out. I was very disapointed in the movie The goblet of fire.

The movies do the best they can to stay true to the books, especially the first two novels/movies, but you simply can't reduce 500+ page books to a 2.5 hour movie and do it total justice. The books are fantastic, and if the movies get more people into reading, then bless them for it.

I think the movies do the novels justice. They are true to the vision Rowling had. I enjoy watching the movies after I have read the books so I can compare the two. Both are equally great.

i wouldnt say better... they are different.. in a book you have to think about character faces and all! and in the movie you are seeing all..... its different but movies are great and books too
