Copy and pasting

How do you turn in someone that is doing that? I just saw it on another persons question. The answer was so far off, anyone could tell it was pasted and copied. I made a comment to him from India that I knew what he did, and he was breaking the rules of MyLot. So, how do we stop that?

Didn't you get the alert mylot sent today? They talked about this very topic. They are asking us all to turn in any of these we find by using the exclamation point beside the post. Also the one-word or irrelevant posters. They want to make an all-out effort to get people either to do what they're supposed to do or get out.

No, I didn't get it. I was on that site, saw you, and I commented it to you. You'll see it eventually. The girl was talking about xmas, she didn't have as much money as her boyfriend, and asked about gifts. This person gave her a whole list on how to make money on MyLot. I made a comment to him. If I see it again, I will turn him in.

I have started reporting people to mylot who post in my topics when it is of no relevance. I never used to but i had 3 people posting things of no relevance. It makes you wonder if these people can speak english or what. it really ticks me of i think the best thing is just to report abuse and give them a bad rating.

Well, that is what the ! is for. It is to turn in the people who are copying and pasting everywhere the same answer even if it does not fit the topic. It unfortunately though, might take a while for myLot to catch on to it, but it does work if enough people seem to notice, and turn the people in.

i will report that member to myLot immediately and send private messages to some of my friends (whom i know hated people who did that!) and asked them to help report that members too ...hehe..im very bad!

It looks like your question just got answered earlier today as MyLot took action and sent a message to everyone about copying and pasting other peoples opinions. It is good to see that they are on top of this. Hopefully they will get cancelled if they do it again after getting that warning message from MyLot.

You just report to myLot staff this kind of fraud, latest allert from them was reffering to this practice. You have just near "+" and "-" ratings on discussions an exclamation sign "!". It can be used to report an user for whatever reason.

I have saw the exact content and exactly same title discussion before from different person and i was still new to mylot and mylot havent been so strict against this kind of issue so people just leave it. But seems like this is included in the mylot rules already and they will strictly ban those who copy other's content. You can just send a pm or message to that person if you are kind enough but if it was me i might report him to mylots xD might get some reward maybe
