Do you like the music your kids listen to?

I really enjoy my kids' music. When I was a kid my Dad really enjoyed my music. It is really a sign of the problem of generation gap when we can't listen to each other's music and like it. My husband is constantly complaining about the kids listening to "jungle music". How do you feel about what your kids listen to?

I grew up listening to my parents' music and loved it. My kids grew up listening to my music and loved it. I listened to their music and loved it. However, I'm having a problem with some of the music my grandchildren listen to today. LOL.

Definitely some of the music today isn't that good, but my kids have pretty good taste when choosing what to listen to. They know generally what I don't like and they find that they also don't like it.

My kid and I sort of have the same taste in music. He is not into metal or rock or alternative (thank God!) And besides so much of the music you hear today are recycled or new versions of the music we had before so I guess it's okay.

What a kewl way to brainwash our kids into liking what we like! Want to shake the hand of the person who thought up that idea!

That's great. It makes it much easier having the radio or cd player on in the car doesn't it?

My kids and I enjoy each others music. Now, mind you, from time to time they will play one song over and over and over and it will drive me nuts. Not because I don't like it...just because there is more than one song in the world. LOL But I do tolerate it as much as I can. And then after that...there are headphones. ha ha My kids and I introduce each other to new songs. I will be singing a new song and they will tell me that they were going to tell me about that song. I think it is great that my kids and I like the same music. :)

I sometimes still play one song over and over. My life is usually full of sound and music and noise. tonight I have been alone in the house for over three hours. No tv, no music, no phone. Soooo rare and soooo nice.
