Value of antique miners shovel

I have a very old miners shovel. It still has the original wooden handle that is very brittle. The shovel itself is much shorter than modern shovels.

You should probably check with some local antique shops and see if they'll do estimates. But make sure to be clear to them you're NOT interested in selling to them, or anyone. Otherwise they'll give you a low quote so you'll sell it to them.
