Meanest thing you ever did to someone.

When I was a little girl, I was so mean to another little girl. I asked her to feel a cactus, and she did. Then she got thorns in her hand, and I felt awful.

I said "NO". People were so dependant on me for everything. If someone asked me to do something for them, I would do it no matter what. This was becoming a problem for me because the wants and needs of others were intruding with my own personal life. When I learned to say "NO", it took people off guard. They look of dismay on their faces told it all. To some it may not seem like a mean thing, but it felt that way to me. It still feels that way at times, but, I have a life too.
