What Should I Do?

My husband and I were in a pub today. My husband had a meal on a hot plate which he dropped on the floor. Before he dropped it on the floor we were not satisfied with it because the chicken was really tough and hard to chew. The meal wasn't very nice and then my husbands plate slipped off his knee. The waitress cleaned it up and then asked the manager if she could give him a new meal. The manager said he would not give him a new meal and that he had to pay for it. This has caused my husband to have a massive argument because he thinks that he shouldn't take it any further, but I think he should. I'm really annoyed that my husband isn't with me on this. What do you think I should do?
