No, it's not. A person with intelligence and creativity can get a lot from television. You can discuss the choices of characters on tv shows, write fanfiction (some fanfiction is bad, but some is very good) which uses the imagination, critique the stories being shown, all sorts of things. There are many ways people can watch tv without being idiots. Even if you don't do any of that, you can still think about the shows. It's no more an idiot form of entertainment than going to a play or even reading a book (and I'm addicted to books, myself). There are bad books and good ones, just like there are bad and good tv shows. It depends on what a person does with television that makes it good or bad.

the world is the way u see it..probably it will be an idiot box if u see some nonsence but if u watch something usefull then it would give u knowledge too...
