i'd say poison snake,i am always worried about snake when i travel a mountain.it really scare me.

Tarantula is really scary and poisonous too but I think it is an insect, but consider it anyway, hehe! hayena maybe.

I think the most dangerous animal are those animals which cannot be tamed and venomous as well. I agree with you, snakes are one of the most dangerous and deadliest animals. But if we are living in the era of dinosaurs, I would go for T-rex.

After humans of course, I believe mosquitoes kill more people than any other animal, if that's what you consider dangerous. Millions die every year as a direct result of mosquito-transmitted diseases. Interesting fact- the deadliest animal in Canada is the moose- more people die as a result of collisions with moose than from any other animal encounter. Our climate isn't well suited to most poisonous critters, all we really have is a few black widows and rattlesnakes :)
