Conflict is apart of human nature. The grass is always green, the progression of humans shows this behavior. You go back to 2000BC and you'll find simple farmers, with the influx of stone they created tools to work with. But with the influx of iron and bronze they created weapons to defend their border with and so hence started the cycle of war.
