of those who drive and have their cellphones on their ears at the same time? recipe for disaster, don't you think?

yess!!! i got into an accident casue of that the guy behind us dropped his phone. and went to pick it up and smached right into us!!!

Yes, I do think it's a recipe for disaster, and they've done studies that show just that, but I don't remember the statistics, something like 20% increased chance for accidents, due to inattention. My husband'a a truck driver, so spends a lot of time on the roads. This is one of his top gripes about drivers. That and folks not slowing down for conditions, or for stopping quickly, or pulling out in front of a semi truck/ because semi's can't slow down real fast; so is another recipe for disaster.

maybe, they just want to show off their top of the line phones, huh? why can't they wait till they reach their destination to use their phones? or if it's really important, why not pull over at the side of the road to take a call?
