Is marriage on sale?

It has been my observation that most of the people I have ever known who have gotten married or are married are not happy. There is always some flaw in the relationship. With that said when they try to give you advice like, "you ought to get married." or "When are you getting married?" I feel like saying "What is marriage on sale or something because you don't seem to like yours but you keep trying to convince me to buy into the whole marriage thing too!" So I ask you folks, is there some kind of sale or affiliate marketing program that these people are in on and they have a vested interest in getting you married off or what?
